Not Present:  BigHal, Diane Kellenburger, Bill Moylan, Karen Venditti, Pete Klaeser, Linda Kovacs

Guests:  Steve Kearney, Jim Nickerson and Sam Langley

Meeting called to order by Sue at 7:15

Motion to approve minutes by Karen Lansdowne, second by Mike Stiles.

President's report:

• CRS membership $7.50 till 10/1
• Renewal after 10/1 will be back to full price, but for 2005
• Web site fee for signing up on line discussed and introduced by Mike Wilson
• Newsletters distributed at Rotary
• Next newsletter will be handed out at Oz, submission due Sept 1
• Gold Cup banquet (jan 22) invitation (nov 13 distribution of 375 printed) and award sample needed
• Bob Hooper has completed the gold cup series for 25 years (all)
• Races that have been in the most GC series need to be recognized
• Christmas party on dec 10
• Need to revamp GC points rules
• New GC cup take off 25 add strider dude est 1979

Vice President's report:

• Strider Survivor Recap
• Attendance was ~ 72 with 47 who ran

• Thank you to members will appear in next newsletter
• Thank you letters written to sponsors
• Photos & Flag photos on web

• $282 food & supplies

• DeFeet Socks - $5/pair
• Windshirts - ordered, pending shipment. Printing at Graphics 22 - pocket logo
• SS and LS wicking - Sue ordered. Printing with windshirts
• Clearance items - $10 singlets, sleeveless, hats
• Tent - decide on size and find screening company
• Name tags at Strider Table for each board member
• Quilts
• Slager - received shirts, need to mail
• Yoko - taking to friend
• Will compare price and quality when both are done
• Brickyard
• Will be partially by Red Cross for 20th anniversary
• Looking for partner (Hobart Y or FOP)

Treasurer's report: 

• All sponsors for 2004 have paid
• CDC still needs to pay gold cup fee
• 460 members
• 369 households
• 242 gold cup participants
• Income statement and funds reviewed

Webmaster:

• Run for Shelter - 20% spelling error wit entry made it difficult to locate runners
• Rotary Ramble - individuals not chip timed, but over 700 participants
• Will select on line registration provider and present information to Sue before next meeting.
