Board of Directors Meeting

Zemansky, Robin Benson-Harvey, Pat Rhodes, Cecilia Bernal, Linda Kovacs, Pete
Klaeser, Mike Stiles, and new members Sharon and Rick Krepp.

Tom Navarro, Cassandra Rozycki, Karen Lansdowne, Larry Giannetti, Diane
Kellenburger, Bill Moylan,
Meeting called to order by Sue at 7:10
President's report:
- Looking
for any Indy Mini runners that want to eat at the pasta dinner.
- Sue
reported that emails are circulating about the Kingfish race, implicating
the Striders and herself as the source of attendance deficiencies. These accusations are untrue as well as
a misrepresentation of the facts.
- Jr.
Strider Team meeting Monday April 26 at 6:30, Human Race Sports - Valpo
Treasurer's
report: Cecilia submitted a revenue
and expenditure report for 2004 through 4/8 showing revenues to date of
$15,574.90 and expenditures of $8,015.97.
Membership: Numbers being updated for drops.
Statistician: Submitted analysis of % of Striders in
races and breakdown demographics of Gold Cup participants.
Web site: Series of updates submitted for review -
all marked by date on the site
INSTEP: Next distribution at Taltree 10, full
of stuff.
Gold Cup:
- 232 GC
participants, 30+ completed all races to date. Report from the committee was put off until next meeting.
Old Business: None
New Business:
- Coupon code to be established for the Chicago
Distance Classic
- On-line discount procedure for Chicago Marathon to be
reviewed
- Mike Stiles moved, 2nd by Mary to approve
a $30 expenditure to sanction the Jr. Striders to run as a team -
Approved.
