The Long Distance Series
This series is designed for those runners who are interested in events of 10 miles or longer. This is a participation series (not competitive) that is separate from the Gold Cup series but does have several races in common.
Requirements:
- Complete five (5) races in the series
- The TALTREE TEN, PARK FOREST SCENIC 10 MILE and CALUMET MEMORIAL PARK DISTRICT MINI MARATHON are mandatory.
- One race must be a marathon distance or longer - can include the LASALLE BANK CHICAGO MARATHON or another race of your choice.
- One half-marathon or longer in addition to the CALUMET MEMORIAL PARK DISTRICT MINI MARATHON is needed.
- Submit an application with appropriate fee before December 1, 2007 to: CRS, PO Box 225, Griffith, IN 46319.
- Complete the LDS Verification form by 12/31/07.
The fee schedule is:
| Gold Cup Member: | $ 5.00 |
| Non-Gold Cup Member: | $10.00 |
Awards: will be presented at the Gold Cup banquet in January of the following year.
