Lawrence P. Giannetti has been elected by USA Triathlon members to serve as Vice President of the Mideast Region and Indiana's Representative to the Mideast Board of Directors! Lawrence had been appointed interim VP and Indiana Representative for 2006 after Mideast region board president Jim Donaldson was promoted to USA Triathlon's National Board of Director's. Originally Lawrence was asked to help out as a Committee Member then was promoted to At Large Board Member the following year.
Ballots were mailed to all annual USA Triathlon members through out the Mideast Region ( Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, and Kentucky). Lawrence's picture along with his election platform was included in a election issue of USA Triathlon Life and listed on USA Triathlon's national website.
