Calumet Region Striders sponsors the Gold Cup Series.
The Calumet Region Strider Gold Cup Series has become one of the most prestigious race
circuits in the area. We are very proud of our club's involvement with
this continuously successful series aptly named the GOLD CUP. The Gold
Cup Series consists of 28 or more officially
designated road races. A person may run in all of the races if desired.
However, only a person's best finishes will count in the overall
scoring. In order to compete in the Gold Cup Series, Striders over the
age 18 must complete at least 10 Gold Cup Races, ages 15-18 must
complete at least 7 Gold Cup
races, and ages 14 or younger must complete at least 5 Gold Cup
races to be eligible for an award. XYZ TRAIL RACE SERIES The XYZ Trail Run Series is a twelve race series of trail races to be
held in Northwest Indiana and Southwest Michigan, all within an hour's drive of each other.
The trail courses will include Sunset Hill County Park, Imagination Glen Park in Portage,

often be XTREME-many miles of hills, ravines, sand dunes, logs, stream crossings, woods,
mud, cold, heat, snow, rain, bugs and fun! This series is meant to seriously challenge the
advanced runner who seeks the challenge of getting off the pavement (boring) and onto the
