Meeting called to order at 6:25 PM by Michele Hale.

June minutes approved 1st by Robin, 2nd by Ruth

President's Report:

• New Business
  • By-Laws - 1st round of voting approved pending changes
  • All Bio's are updated
  • Bricks - Cecilia will call to order both
  • Time clock for sale - Have Misty plug in to check if it works
  • Panera Donation will be faxed in by Michele
  • 5,000 Shells were ordered and delivered to OE
  • Lisa Moreno stuffing September Newsletters
  • Darrell Hale appointed Aide Station Captain - 1st by Sue 2nd by Ruth
  • Hindwear account will switch to Saucony
  • Chicago Marathon water stop mile 5 update currently at 35 Volunteers
  • Hometown Race - there will be a box for donating previously owned running apparel/shoes for the GOTR.
  • Frank needs to train Nicolette Huber to do Instep
  • Remove following Sponsors from newsletter - Accelerated, Human Race and Buck's bike shop
  • ADD Fuel Belt to Shell
  • All Sponsored races have to go through Mary for approval
  • Contact the Cox family about presenting awards at Fall frolic-Sue will contact
  • Order Jim Cox awards - Michele will do
  • Shoe mobile coming to Fall Frolic or another Gold Cup race
  • Check sent to Pat - was shredded by his daughter Lori
• Old Business
  • Need to find Storage for Strider stuff ( time clock, scrapbooks, etc.)
  • Scrapbooks are at Misty's.

Vice President's Report:

• Show your striderwear at races and get entered into a raffle
• 18 at 1st race, 19 at 2nd and 40 at 3rd

• BRP Update - Misty took Lake Co runners out to run the course
• 19 runners race entries were paid for
• DO Wrap hats are in and avaliable for sale
• All striderwear has been delivered

INSTEP Editor's Report:

• Submissions due on the 16th
• Go to print on the 23rd
• Pick up on the 24th

Webmaster & Statistician's Report:

• Memorials now on website
• updating photo gallery
• Submitted pictures to Chicago Marthon for 30th Anniversary

Gold Cup & Sponsored Race Series:

• Meeting with Brickyard RD - Mary and Michele
• Race Directors meeting Wednesday November 28th 6PM Joe's Crab Shack in Merrillville
• Choose Gold Cup Races and submit to Chicago athlete Magazine

Social & Sponsorship:

• August 18 - Ruffles the Clown booked
• December 7: Holiday Party (2-Pinatas)

Runner Programs & Scholarships:

• Jordan Chester 8th in 1500,3rd in 3,000; Tyler Swets
• Reimburse 2 kids up to $100 Each - 1st by Robin, 2nd by Linda (Youth donation from TallTree)
