Since I started running in 2000, I have met some of the nicest people. Some of my best friends are Striders and they are the reason I am still running. I know I will learn a lot from the more seasoned board members and in the process bring a few new and exciting ideas to our club. My friends have given me moral support with my training and race experiences and I know that is one thing I can help promote with new members and older members alike.

The rest of my life is kept busy by my husband, Rich, of 26 years, and a full time job at Marshall′s in Valparaiso, Indiana. Our daughter, Cristin, also a Strider, is graduating in May of 2006 with a Masters in Exercise Physiology so I have a wealth of information at my fingertips.

I hope to be running for a long time to come. As far as I am concerned, there isn′t a better way or nicer people to spend my leisure time with.
