I started running in 1995 doing the County Line Orchard 5K (the first and only time that race was held). I said I′d never do another run again. Ha! I joined the striders a few years later. It was much easier to keep motivated with people who shared your love of running.

I met Clarence at the Brickyard run and we got married at the Ringing in the Spring in 2001. I′ve been running ever since. We have been averaging 70 races a year. I did my first 1/2 marathon last year in Nashville, it took me a whole 5 minutes to decide to do another.
